Three young scientists of the Opole University of Technology have won scholarships for outstanding young scientists from the Ministry of Education and Science. This is a distinction for young scientists who demonstrate significant achievements in scientific activity.
The winners include Prof. Anna Hnydiuk-Stefan from the Department of Safety Engineering and Technical Systems, Dr Eng. Katarzyna Mazur-Włodarczyk from the Department of Enterprise Management, e-Business and Electronic Economy, Dr Eng. Krzysztof Drożdżol from the Department of Bridges, Geotechnics and Construction Processes and Dr Sebastian Rutkowski from the Department of Physiotherapy.
In this year’s competition, 1,719 applications for a scholarship were submitted. Ultimately, after evaluation by the advisory team, 215 scientists, including 37 doctoral students, were awarded. For three years, the laureates will receive scholarships in the amount of PLN 5,390 per month.
