Provincial and Municipal Public Library in Zielona Góra is inviting participants to the Lubuski Science Laurel competition. The purpose of the competition is to promote scientific and popular science books dealing with issues related to the Lubuskie province – in the literary, historical, social and natural dimension.

The formal condition urges that the entry submitted to the Lubuski Science Laurel has a full scientific workshop (footnotes, bibliography and reviews). Works that do not meet all of the above requirements may be nominated in the category for the Best Popular Science Book.

The jury of the competition will award the Silver Pen together with a cash prize for the laureate of the Lubuski Science Laurel and the Small Silver Pen for the Best Popular Science Book. The jury may also award a diploma for editorial qualities to Lubuskie region publishers of the books submitted for the competition. The deadline for receiving applications is 17 January 2020.
