Larger admission limits for medical studies

The Medical University of Lodz will accept more students to study medicine. The University of Lodz received a larger limit from the Ministry of Health in the call for the academic year 2019/2020.

From October 2019, Łódź Medical University will accept 670 students for the first year of full-time medical studies.
However, it should be mentioned that 150 places will be financed by the Ministry of National Defense. 520 places remain for future civilian doctors.

Raising the limits of medical studies, paid in total by the state, applies not only to Łódź university. In the regulation from the previous year, the Ministry of Health allowed Polish universities to offer a total of 4,678 places, this year there will be 5122 places for medical students.
The development of medical staff is very important from the point of view of the epidemiological situation of the country.
