Poznan professors awarded for inventiveness

Three professors from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań were awarded the Honorary Medal for Merit for Inventiveness. Medals were awarded as part of the 100th anniversary of the Patent Office and the system of protection of industrial property in Poland.

Professor UAM Jacek Guliński specializes in organosilicon chemistry and issues related to the transfer of innovation and technology, innovation policy, relations of science with economy and commercialization of research results.

Professor Hieronim Maciejewski deals with technologies of preparation of organosilicon compounds, synthesis and modification of inorganic polymers, catalysis of hydrosilylation processes.

Professor Stanisław Sołtysiński is a member of the national correspondent of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, author of scientific publications in the field of commercial and inventive law, co-author of a four-volume commentary to the Commercial Code issued by C.H. Beck.
