The Department of International Relations of the Institute of Political Sciences and Journalism of the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Police Headquarters invite participants to the second national scientific conference “Challenges and threats to national and international security in the 21st century”.

The aim of the conference is to try to identify the most important challenges and threats to internal and international security in the 21st century and formulate recommendations for policy-makers in Poland’s security policy. The results of scientific research will be confronted with the experiences of people representing institutions whose main task is to ensure state security.

The organizers announced the topics of human traffic and drug trade and the so-called designer drugs as a social problem and a security threat. Other problems of European and global internal security in the second decade of the 21st century will also be analysed.
