The Institute of Aviation, which belongs to the Łukasiewicz Research Network is inviting participants to an educational night event – 10th Night of the Institute of Aviation. The leitmotif of this year’s event will be the secrets of space. The event will take place on October 11, 2019 at the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw.
The special guest of the event will be Artur Chmielewski, Polish engineer, space mission manager, working at the California Jet Propulsion Laboratory – NASA. He will share the details of his work as part of the famous Rosetta project and the Galileo, Ulysses and Cassini-Huygens missions, as well as current missions organized by the American Space Agency.
The event will provide enthusiasts from student scientific clubs, technical universities and many institutions, such as the Polish Space Agency, the Space Research Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Copernicus Science Center with possibility to show the Polish contribution to space exploration and the successes of Polish engineers, including in the design of rockets, Mars rovers or space probes.
