Eleven universities in Poland joined the group of leaders setting the standards of digitization in the education sector and received the title of “Microsoft Cloud University”. The distinction is awarded to innovative universities that use new technologies in their daily activities to meet the challenges of the modern world.
From now on, “Microsoft Cloud Universities” include: the University of Lower Silesia, Warsaw University of Technology, the University of Economics in Wrocław, University of Gdańsk, University of Rzeszów, Military University of Technology, as well as Higher Schools of Banking in Gdańsk, Poznań, Toruń, Warsaw and Wrocław.
“University in the Microsoft Cloud” is a program awarding Polish universities that use the achievements of cloud technology in scientific, administrative and research processes. These universities provide students and employees with extensive access to Microsoft software also for private use, and the Office 365 service is used by at least 60 per cent academic community. “Microsoft Cloud Universities” also use Microsoft Azure or Dynamics 365 in various areas of activity, including researches.
