120 scientists to come to Poland under the POLONEZ BIS program

01.12.2020

120 researchers will come to Poland as a continuation of the POLONEZ program. The National Science Center (NCN) will announce three calls under the POLONEZ BIS program in 2021 and 2022.

The program participants will spend to Poland for 24 months to conduct basic research in Polish institutions. They will be able to freely choose the research topic and future employers.

In addition to full remuneration, financed mostly from EU funds, the POLONEZ BIS program will offer scientists up to EUR 100,000 for the implementation of their own research projects and employing needed staff. The program will be complemented by an extensive series of trainings and intersectoral internships.

The first competition of the POLONEZ BIS program will be launched in September 2021.

The POLONEZ BIS program is co-financed by the European Commission and the National Science Center under the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant.
