The Ministry of Education and Science, the Educational Research Institute, the Centre for Education Development and the Zamojska Academy are organising the 2nd Congress of Classical Education on 16 November at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

During the Second Congress of Classical Education, speakers from Poland and abroad will address topics such as, ‘the relevance of classical education for modern man’, ‘classical paideia as an integral cultivation of man’ or ‘music as a liberated art’. The event will culminate in a discussion on ‘Classical education in the face of contemporary challenges’ with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek.

At the last year’s event, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science pointed out that ‘following the path of classical education, that is, education that will raise man to goodness, beauty and truth, is a condition for the future of our generations, our homeland’.
