The Polish-US Fulbright Commission has published the list of winners of the BioLAB 2022-23 Program. 48 students from Poland will take a one-year internship at one of four renowned research centers in the USA: Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, University of Chicago, University of Texas – Southwestern Medical Center or University of Virginia.

The BioLAB program is intended for undergraduate and doctoral students of biological, chemical and medical faculties.

During the internship, students join research teams conducting projects in neurology, crystallography, virology and molecular genetics.

According to the Fulbright Commission, the results of research conducted during the internship often form the basis of articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The scholarship holders of the BioLAB program also take an active part in the life of the American university, participate in seminars, guest lectures and learn about American culture.
