The National Centre of Science (NCN) has announced the OPUS 27 competition for research projects implemented by scientists at every stage of their careers and PRELUDIUM 23 competition aimed at researchers without a PhD degree. The total budget of the announced competitions is PLN 490 million. Applications will be accepted until 17 June.

In the OPUS 27 competition, one can apply for financing of projects without the participation of foreign partners, projects implemented in cooperation with partners from foreign scientific institutions or projects that involve the use of large international research facilities by Polish teams. 

The PRELUDIUM 23 competition is aimed at researchers without a PhD degree. Researchers can obtain a grant for the implementation of projects lasting 12, 24 or 36 months in Polish institutions in the amount of PLN 70 thousand, PLN 140 thousand or PLN 210 thousand respectively. The topic of the project may be related to the topic of the planned doctoral thesis.
