PLN 12 million has been allocated by the Ministry of Education and Science (MEiN) for the 4th “National Academic Representation” project. The initiative allows for the parallel pursuit of a sporting career and academic study. Through the programme, student athletes can receive funding to organise additional teaching activities. 

The programme of teaching activities will be implemented in the form of individual organisation of studies during the academic year, according to the planned number of additional hours for a given student, informs the MEiN. Funding will be calculated on the basis of the number of eligible student-athletes (BA studies, MA studies or uniform master’s studies) who have Polish citizenship and the required sports category.

Funding will be directed directly to the university.

Funding of up to PLN 20,000.00 + up to 10 % of indirect costs will be allocated for each eligible student-athlete.

Athletes will receive funding for approximately 100 hours of individually organised learning, including distance learning or meetings with a tutor or educational supervisor.
