Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznań (UAM) is starting cooperation with Korean universities Chonnam National University and Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology. The cooperation agreement was signed during the Poland-Korea Forum, coordinated by Chang-Yang Lee, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea, and Waldemar Buda, Minister of Development and Technology.

The forum, attended by the presidents of both countries, brought together dozens of people representing the worlds of diplomacy, science and business. The signed document paves the way for the development of a comprehensive and long-term partnership between the signatories, reads the website of the Poznan university.

“We are an attractive partner for Korean universities and industry, because every year a group of graduates of Korean philology leaves the walls of our university and immediately finds work in Korean companies investing in Poland or in Polish companies in Korea,” assesses the vice-rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Professor Rafał Witkowski.
