Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa joins European Universities

The COLOURS alliance, of which the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa is a member, has obtained the status of a European University. The university will co-implement the project as part of the consortium with the acronym COLOURS.

‘We join the small group of Polish universities which can boast the status of a European University. I hope that the honourable title will contribute to building even more prestige around our academic centre, and that the University will be even more eagerly chosen as a place of study by candidates from other European countries’, says Rector, Professor Anna Wypych-Gawrońska.

The European University Alliance COLOURS (COLlaborative innOvative sUstainable Regional univerSities) brings together 9 universities with approximately 126,000 students and 12,300 staff in Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, North Macedonia and Latvia.
