The Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw on December 13, held the first conference “Ethics of public relations”. Researchers and industry experts discussed the ethics and standards of professional PR.

The conference focused on the development of “Professional Public Relations Standards”, and the participants discussed in detail the issues of ethical behavior and the importance of professionalism in the PR industry.

In addition, they worked out a glossary of terms related to public relations. “Standards” have been developed by the Social Team of PR Experts.

Professionalism and ethics are inextricably linked, especially in areas that affect human decisions, such as PR. We want to remind that public relations are to reconcile the interests of principals, the media and society groups, remain in line with ethical standards and refer to values- said experts.
