Dr Eng. Janetta Niemann from the University of Life Sciences in Poznań has been appointed an expert of the Research Executive Agency (REA) acting within the powers delegated by the European Commission.
Dr Eng. Janetta Niemann works at the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding of the Faculty of Agriculture and Bioengineering at the Poznań University. She will advise on issues related to the Horizon 2020 program. She will take part in the process of assessing projects submitted to the Executive Agency for Sustainable Food Security under Horizon 2020 – Work Program 2018-2020.
Horizon 2020 is a framework program for research and innovation, which was adopted by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union in December 2013. This is the largest EU project to date in research and innovation. The program’s budget is EUR 80 billion, of which EUR 2.8 billion will be allocated to research and innovation.
