Kielce University of Technology is completing the construction of a complex of modern CENWIS laboratories. There will be 12 modern research labs in the Scientific and Implementation Center for Intelligent Specializations (CENWIS) of the Świętokrzyskie Region, which will be opened in March this year.
-CENWIS investment means a new concept of the operation of our university. It is a comprehensive cooperation project with the industry, an active implementation center. We will no longer want to wait in our individual scientific units until someone entrusts us with something to study – explains professor Wiesław Trąmpczyński, rector of the Kielce University of Technology.
The CENWIS will include a laboratory for advanced nanotechnologies and nanomaterials. It will cooperate with the Świętokrzyskie Oncology Center in the production of implants for patients. There will also be a laboratory testing renewable energy sources.
