Two weeks after launching the first tests confirming or excluding the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, Warsaw Genomics doubled the maximum daily number of tests. Doctors and specialists working within this spin-off company of the University of Warsaw can now perform up to 2000 tests per day.
Coronavirus tests are carried out in Warsaw Genomics using real-time RT-PCR, in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO). Scientists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Warsaw Genomics is conducting free tests commissioned by hospitals, medical facilities and sanitary and epidemiological stations, thus becoming an important support for the health care system currently struggling with the coronavirus pandemic.
