The National Science Center (NCN) is informing Polish applicants that the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) has launched a fast evaluation way for funding research applications for FWF Urgent Funding for Research Into Humanitarian Crises like Epidemics and Pandemics, for all science disciplines submitted to the FWF from April 6 to September 30, 2020.

This means that the process of substantive evaluation of applications for funding research projects related to research on epidemic or pandemic crises in FWF will be shortened to several weeks.

Polish applicants submitting national applications for the CEUS-UNISONO program containing joint applications for funding research projects related to research on epidemic or pandemic crises, submitted to FWF as the leading agency under the Stand-Alone Projects program can be assured that their joint applications will be evaluated in FWF as the leading agency within a few weeks after their submission, which will accordingly accelerate the decision on granting funds by the National Science Center for the implementation of the Polish part of the project.
