The Polish Information Processing Society (PTI) awarded prizes in the competition for the Best Polish IT Book, which was published not earlier than in 2019.

In the category of textbooks and popular science books, the main prize was received by the publication “Practical machine learning” by Marcin Szeliga, published by PWN Scientific Publishing House. The book combines theory with practice and describes solutions to several typical problems, such as profit forecasting, marketing campaign optimization, proactive equipment maintenance or credit risk assessment.

The main prize was not awarded in the category of scientific books. The distinction was received by Marcin Kowalczyk for “Digital State. Conditions and perspectives”, also published by PWN Scientific Publishing House.
