Dr Grzegorz Kwiatkowski from the Economics Department of the Faculty of Economics of the Koszalin University of Technology took the 13th place among 200 scientists who received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. The Ministry awarded 53 doctoral students.

Dr Grzegorz Kwiatkowski is conducting scientific research on the socio-economic impact of events and festivals on the tourist reception areas. The results of his research were published in reputable magazines. Since 2016, he has been a member of the editorial committee of “Event Management” – the most important industry magazine in the field of event management published in the United States.

The Minister’s scholarship can be awarded only to young outstanding scientists with exceptional potential. The monthly amount of the scholarship is PLN 5,390. The Koszalin scientist representing the field of socio-economic geography and spatial management will receive it for 36 months.
