The Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw together with the Medical University of Lublin (UM) and the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin started cooperation in medicine, natural sciences, digitization and telemedicine.
The meeting of Fr. Prof. Stanisław Dziekoński, the rector of the UKSW, Prof. Wojciech Załuski, rector of the Medical University in Lublin and Prof. Wiesław Gruszecki, Vice-Rector for Science at UMCS took place in mid-July and concerned the conditions and principles of future joint activities.
Initially, the joint activities will include research projects using digital technologies aimed at solving specific social problems, e.g. a project related to telemedicine in the field of ophthalmology.
Ultimately, the cooperation will cover many areas on the regional, national and international levels.
