Dr Dariusz Surowik, rector of the State School of Information Technology and Entrepreneurship in Łomża, became the chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Public Vocational Universities (KRePUZ).
KRePUZ is an association of rectors representing Polish public vocational schools. It aims to cooperate with these universities, take care of their interests and represent them in the higher education environment, both at home and abroad.
The Conference of Rectors of Public Vocational Universities is one of the two organizations (apart from the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Polish) included in the Law on Higher Education and Science. It consists of 33 public vocational schools.
The vice-presidents of KRePUZ in the 2020-2024 term are: Dr Maciej Słodki, Rector of the Masovian Public High School in Płock and Dr Donat Mierzejewski, rector of the Stanisław Staszic State High School in Piła.
