The University of Warsaw (UW) and the company DeepMind, a world leader in research on artificial intelligence, have signed a cooperation agreement under which DeepMind will finance two scholarships for students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw.
The DeepMind scholarship program enables talented people from groups underrepresented in the AI area, including women to start studies at leading universities under academic supervision.
Thanks to the signed agreement between the University of Warsaw and DeepMind, two scholarships for women will be awarded in the 2020/2021 academic year that will cover the costs of master’s studies in computer science at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics of the University of Warsaw.
