-Contact with a lecturer and a group of colleagues is invaluable, but a lot of development work can be successfully done online. It is even necessary, because the economic environment has sent a clear signal around the world that remoted work will stay with us even after the pandemic – said Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, rector of Kozminski University (ALK).

In the opinion of the rector, “today, the university is not a place where you come to get your diploma. Today it is more of an airport hub”. This is a place where business mixes with start-ups, researchers with partners from the economy and science, the place of meetings with interesting people, discussions and inspirations. And problem solving, through e.g. hackathons, when students solve strategic problems of companies using solutions from other companies – said Prof. Mazurek and added that the university should be a place where “we act together for society, economy and business.”
