-The Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) has been occupying a significant position in Polish science and culture for over a hundred years. We have to confirm this place every day with the quality of research and education. Our challenge for the coming years is to obtain the status of a research university – said the rector of the Catholic University of Lublin, Fr. Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski.

In the context of the scientific research of Fr. Prof. Kalinowski drew attention to obtaining the status of a research university as the goal included in the university’s development strategy, – We have ambitions to belong to the best universities in Poland, although of course we are aware of the enormous amount of work we have to do to achieve it – stated the Rector of the Catholic University of Lublin.

Fr. Prof. Mirosław Kalinowski emphasized, that the university should remember about the offer for future students. In the previous academic year, KUL began a new course in Nursing, which is the first major in the field of health sciences. The university has plans to create more health courses including obstetrics.
