Students of the “Young Construction Managers” Science Club operating at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology have developed an educational game called “Design and Build”.
The name of the game originates from the formulas for conducting the construction investment process, which is the “design, build” system. It involves an investor commissioning a construction project to be carried out by one enterprise, which at the same time prepares the project and deals with its implementation. Thanks to this solution, time is saved, which is extremely important during the implementation of construction projects.
The game shows the whole process in an accessible way and also teaches what to remember during the entire investment process, starting from the very beginning – the investment preparation phase or applying for a building permit, going through each stage of construction until obtaining the final permits.
