For the third time, the Center for French Culture of the University of Warsaw, together with the French Institute in Poland and the partners of the event, are organizing the competition “My PhD in 180 seconds” in the region of Central Europe. Participants will have 3 minutes to present their PhD topic in French and convince the jurors and the audience.
The competition has existed since 2012 and is held today in nearly 30 countries. It is an opportunity for doctoral students to present their scientific work to a wide audience, explaining a complex issue in a simple way.
For their performance in French, participants have 180 seconds and can only use one slide. The person who is most understandable and persuasive wins.
Polish participants will compete in an online national competition to qualify for the finals of the “My PhD in 180 seconds” competition in Central Europe. The winner of the competition in Central Europe will qualify for the international finals in Paris.
