Photovoltaic solutions will be installed in five buildings and three dormitories of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. It is one of the largest installations of renewable energy sources (RES) on public buildings in Poznań. 

The planned investment will include the installation of roof photovoltaic modules and, for the first time in Poznań, self-snowing roof modules, photovoltaic skylights and glass-glass photovoltaic lamellas mounted as external blinds. The investment will be completed by October 15th. The produced energy will be used only for the purposes of the university’s facilities.

The investment, apart from the obvious financial and environmental benefits, is also supposed to promote this type of ecological solutions. It will also be an excellent opportunity for scientists dealing with aspects of renewable energy sources and students of Eco-energy, who gain the opportunity to learn about the operation of solar installations in practice.
