The University of Silesia has made available the Connect UŚ application connecting the community of Silesian universities around the world, and also useful in travelling. The application allows checking who from the community is currently in the city or in the place where the user is travelling.
The application is dedicated to graduates, but the entire academic community can benefit from it. It allows to find friends from studies and renew contact with them, establish contact with members of the community of the University of Silesia, find friends or get help in their place of stay – also abroad. The application features also allow students to meet new people, send private messages and participate in forum discussions.
The application was created as part of the project “UŚ Alumni – Building relations with foreign graduates of the University of Silesia”. The project was financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange under the International Alumni Program.
