Koszalin University of Technology launches Laboratory of Electric Micromotors

27.05.2021

The Laboratory of Electric Micromotors was established at the Koszalin University of Technology. Young students and future engineers can explore there the secrets of using electric drive systems in modern vehicles and transport machines.

The laboratory is equipped with a DC motor with a dynamometer for testing the properties of DC motors. There is also a stand for testing stepper motors (stepper motor connected with a powder brake system) and a serving drive with a dynamometer.

A separate stand has been designed to test the properties of stepper motors, serving drives, DC motors and learn PLC programming – programmable logic controllers cooperating with the motors. Each of the stands is equipped with software that allows the archiving of measurement data.
