The National Center for Research and Development (NCBR) has established a new company, IDEAS, whose task will be the development of research and development of artificial intelligence and digital economy. 

The main goal of establishing the IDEAS (Intelligent Digital Economy AlgorithmS) by NCBR is to increase the R&D potential in the area of ​​artificial intelligence and digital economy, as well as to increase the competencies of R&D staff, the number of R&D works and intensify cooperation between business and research units.

NCBR is participating in key projects for the Polish economy. Creating a strong research and development center in such an innovative field as artificial intelligence is an important step on the way to achieving scientific and research success, and consequently economic and social success, + said Dr Wojciech Kamieniecki, director of the NCBR.

Ultimately, the new company will employ over 200 research and development employees. It will allow for the creation of one of the largest centers for the development of artificial intelligence in Poland in the next few years.
