The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways announced the first competition “Innovations in road engineering”. The competition is addressed to students and graduates of BA and MA studies, full-time or part-time studies in the academic years 2017/2018 – 2020/2021. 

The aim of the competition is to select the best diploma theses (master’s, engineering, bachelor’s works) with the results that can be used in road construction.

The competition includes diploma theses which have been presented in the following categories: Road Materials and Technologies; Traffic Engineering and BRD solutions; Road Engineering Structures.

Applications with a two-page summary of the diploma dissertation should be sent to the following address: General Directorate of National Roads and Highways, ul. Wronia 53, 00-874 Warsaw or to the e-mail address: kontakt@gddkia.gov.pl by 23 July 2021.

The prizes in the Competition of the General Director of National Roads and Motorways are awarded in each of the three thematic categories: 1st place – PLN 5,000, 2nd place – PLN 3,000, 3rd place – PLN 2,000.
