The Independent Students’ Association held the Student Nobel Prize Gala. The event was attended by Przemysław Czarnek, Minister of Education and Science. 

-This competition is the only Polish scholarship competition fully created by a student organization. It is a great joy for me to meet outstanding students who are the future of Polish science- said Minister Czarnek.

The prizes were awarded in 9 categories:

Journalism and literature: Antonina Tosiek – the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań

Technical Sciences: Justyna Pelc – Wrocław University of Science and Technology

Economic Sciences: Szymon Jarosz – Krakow University of Economics

Medicine and Pharmacy: Wojciech Szlasa – Medical University of Silesian Piasts in Wrocław

Life sciences and energy: Kacper Prokop – University of Wrocław

Social sciences: Michał Wiktor Gębicki – University of Silesia in Katowice

Social activity: Julia Orłowska – the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań

Art: Katarzyna Nachman – University of Silesia in Katowice

Physics and Astronomy: Jan Chojnacki – University of Warsaw
