Łukasiewicz – Polish Center for Technology Development to check immunity to SARS-CoV-2 virus in vaccinated patients

01.07.2021

The Łukasiewicz – Polish Center for Technology Development will check resistance to SARS-CoV-2 virus in patients vaccinated with various types of preparations. The center is inviting people who have not yet received the first dose of the vaccine to participating in the research project.

“Project Immunity” is a scientific program aimed at monitoring and comparing the antibody profile and cellular immune response in patients from Lower Silesia who have received vaccines from different manufacturers. The test is carried out by the Population Diagnostics Center.

Project members will receive free monitoring of acquired immunity to SARS-CoV-2 up to 6 months after vaccination and information on the number of antibodies that provide short- and long-term immunity. Participation in the research project will contribute to broadening the knowledge about vaccination against COVID-19 and the resulting immunity, as well as developing optimal models for their administration to patients.
