The Metropolitan Area of ​​Upper Silesia and Zagłębie Metropolis together with the Fortis Pro Nobis Foundation are inviting participants to the second Metropolitan Climathon 2021. The event will take place in a hybrid form on 28 and 29, October. The Silesian University of Technology is a partner of the event.

Climathon is a 24-hour creativity race held concurrently in over 100 cities around the world. The topics of the second Climathon will be energy efficiency and how to rationally use electricity and heat. Participants will look for solutions to save energy and heat in homes and in the city in order to protect the climate.

Anyone can participate in the event: pupils, students, teams and individuals. They do not need to have specialized knowledge related to energy and heating, just an open mind and the willingness to create non-standard ideas. During the event, participants will receive the support of the organizers and the inspiration of mentors and experts.
