The Institute of Economics of the International School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw is inviting participants to a scientific conference “Poland in the world economy – opportunities and threats”, which will be held on November 18, 2021 in Warsaw.    

The main goal of the conference is to discuss the latest research results in international economics and the market changes caused by the pandemic. The conference is also an opportunity to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Institute of International Economics of the Warsaw School of Economics (formerly the Institute of International Economic Relations).

During the conference, the Polish Trade Study Group (PTSG) will be established. It will integrate the community of Polish economists researching various aspects of economic phenomena in the global economy and highlight the place and role of Poland in the international arena.
