Scientists from the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia conducted research, which became the subject of the report “Enrolment and selection of employees in a pandemic”. The aim of the survey conducted among employers from the Śląskie Voivodeship was to obtain information on changes taking place on the labor market during the pandemic.

The reasons related to the nature of the market environment of business entities and the restrictions related to the limitation of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus spoke in favor of undertaking the research. Due to the pandemic, the implementation of certain solutions turned out to be the only chance of survival.

It was especially important to collect a set of data on the demand for solutions such as: game-based testing, automated job interviews or the use of robo-recruiters. The collected data allowed for the formulation of recommendations and recommendations for business entities.
