Międzyleski Specialist Hospital in Warsaw will provide students of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) in Warsaw with its laboratories and medical equipment. The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the Institute of Medical Sciences, Medical Faculty of Collegium Medicum UKSW was opened in the Międzylesie Hospital on April 4.

The cooperation between the UKSW and the Międzyleski Hospital is the result of an agreement allowing UKSW students to use the hospital’s infrastructure and its medical, technical and office equipment.

For the purposes of realizing the contract, the UKSW established organizational departments of the Institute of Medical Sciences of the Medical Faculty of the UKSW Collegium Medicum on the basis of the existing organizational units including Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Department of Surgery, Department of Urology, 1st Department of Internal Diseases and the departments of Neurology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy and Pathomorphology.
