A replica of the spacesuit of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, a live connection with an expedition exploring the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, the best Mars rovers from around the world and a competition for a recycled rover are just a few of the many attractions awaiting visitors to the 8th European Rover Challenge (ERC) competition, which will take place from 9-11 September 2022 at the Swietokrzyska University of Technology in Kielce.

The ERC 2022 competition will host 30 teams from 10 countries on a specially designed artificial Martian track. The grand prize pool for the event’s final is $5,000.

Each of the following days of ERC 2022 will be a separate thematic zone. On Friday, experts will talk about exploration and the prospects for colonising Mars. On Saturday, space technology specialists will focus on man’s return to the Moon. On Sunday, invited guests will talk about the use of satellite data, how to protect our planet with space technologies and their role in everyday life.
