A delegation from the Mazovian Higher Public University (MUP) in Plock, which will become the Mazovian Academy from 1 October 2022, travelled to Iraq, where the Plock institution has established international cooperation with universities in Iraqi Kurdistan. 

The Rector of the Mazovian Public University, Professor Maciej Słodki met with the rectors of five universities: University of Raparin in Ranya, University of Sulaimani, Soran University, University of Halabja and Erbil Polytechnic University. 

During the meetings, cooperation was discussed, which will largely be based on international exchanges within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. This programme enables cooperation with partner universities from the Middle East.

A delegation from the Płock HEI was invited to Kurdistan together with a delegation from the city of Plock.
