To mark this year’s 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Pasteur, the discoverer and scientist called the ”father of microbiology” and ”benefactor of mankind”, an international scientific conference will be held in Warsaw on 29-30 November 2022.
The organisers of the event include the Faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw, the Medical University of Warsaw, the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
The conference ‘The last word belongs to microbes – Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Pasteur’, which will be attended by an international group of microbiologists, immunologists, biotechnologists and physicians, will not only provide an opportunity to recall the silhouette of one of the greatest minds of all time, but will also provide an insight into the latest developments and challenges in the field of microbiology.
