“A study of the intellectual potential of Kraków’s scientific and academic centre with particular reference to attracting national and international conference and congress events to Kraków” is a new research project carried out by a team of researchers from the Department of Tourism at the Kraków University of Economics (UEK).
A pilot version of the research is currently being carried out at five public HEIs with an academic profile and one non-public HEI. The research is being conducted at the Jagiellonian University, the University of Economics, the Academy of Agriculture, the Academy of Music, the Academy of Fine Arts and the Kraków Academy.
The project is the result of cooperation between the academic community, the Kraków meetings industry and the Kraków City Hall, which decided to fund the first research in Poland on using the potential of intellectual leaders to develop the meetings industry.
