The Medical University of Wrocław (UMW) has joined the universities affiliated to the European University Association (EUA). The EUA brings together more than 850 universities (with around 17 million students), as well as national rector associations and institutions involved in research and development. This means that it is the largest organisation in Europe that represents universities.
We have been very well received by the European scientific community, which proves that we are a university with great potential’, says Professor Marzena Dominiak, vice-chancellor for development strategy at UMW.
EUA member universities have the opportunity for extensive international cooperation, exchange of views and academic experience, as well as participation in joint projects and organisation of scientific events. Membership of the association also provides an opportunity to increase the mobility of research and teaching staff and students.
