The Department of Law and Administration of the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza is hosting a scientific conference on 1 February entitled ‘Amendment of the Labour Code – assessment of the regulation and its effects’. The conference will be attended by specialists in the area of labour law, personal data protection and information security as well as business law.
The conference will focus on issues related to the amendments to the Labour Code, which are expected to take effect in 2023. The proposed changes will be significant – both for the employer and the employee. The amendment is also justified by the need to implement EU directives, including the work-life balance directive.
The conference will also analyse the issue of remote working, which has been accepted in the Polish legal order as a temporary solution, introduced by the so-called Covid Act. Currently, the legislator is planning to introduce these solutions permanently into the Labour Code.
