The Croquet and Lamy Academy was among the winners of the European competition #BeActive Awards. Dr Tomasz Frołowicz, Professor at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, is one of the people working on the Croquet and Lamy Academy. The competition recognises and supports projects that promote physical activity because of its importance for the health and quality of life of people of all ages.
The Croquet and Lamy Academy team creates educational materials, mainly films lasting several minutes, which are used by teachers with pupils in kindergartens and primary schools. The films contain typical educational content for pupils of this age, but they get everyone in the class moving, combining learning with physical activity and fun.
In particular 2022, the Academy has prepared a series of films that help integrate Ukrainian children with their Polish peers in kindergartens and schools. Prof. Frolowicz acts as an expert on education and physical activity in the project team.
