Małgorzata Styczewska, student at the Medical University of Gdańsk, won the individual competition of the National Great Synapsis Knowledge Contest in Poznań.

The competition organized under the patronage of the Polish Physiological Society was attended by 57 students from the 9th medical schools. In the first part of the competition, participants solved the test of choice. After the selection of 12 finalists, the second test part was held, with the increased difficulty of questions.

Representatives of the Gdańsk university, Małgorzata Styczewska, Mikołaj Młyński, and Izabela Kotlewska, took the third place in the competition of teams. The competition involved 9 student teams. The participants had to solve clinical problems during simulation scenarios with the use of practical skills and physiological knowledge. After a fierce battle, the students from Poznań won against the team from Katowice.
