On July 11, 2018, the inauguration of the next Year of the Polish Community will take place. The event is organized by the Center for Polish Language and Culture for Polish Diaspora and Foreigners of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin.

Summer of Polish diaspora includes a variety of Polish language and culture courses for Poles and foreigners, which traditionally take place in the Lublin university each year in July. This year’s summer will be attended by a total of 150 participants who will improve their Polish language, will learn about Polish history and culture – says Katarzyna Skałecka from the press office of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University.

As part of the Summer of the Polish diaspora, the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture 2018 will be held. The course is co-financed by the National Academic Exchange Agency. 79 people from 29 countries will come to Lublin to take part in the event.
