Polish startups receive public and private money

08.02.2018

In 2017, money from the programs of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development were transferred to 103 Polish start-ups and innovative companies. Investments amounted to approx. PLN 80 million. Particular subsidies should have not surpassed PLN 800,000.

Such support is provided also from acceleration programs and incubators run by Polish private sector companies. For example mBank allocated 50 million euros to the mAccelerator venture capital fund last year. It financed the software Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development projects for banks and companies from the financial sector. This is the first such project in Poland and in Central and Eastern Europe.
