The Mechatronics faculty (undergraduate studies) at the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin has won an award in the eighth nationwide competition and programme for the accreditation of studies “Studies with a Future”.

In the opinion of the competition committee, the course provides students with modern knowledge, allows them to acquire appropriately defined valuable professional skills and social competences, and the learning outcomes achieved by graduates are in line with the concept and objectives of education, as well as correspond to the profile of studies and the graduate profile defined by the university.

In the justification for the decision to award the distinction, it was emphasised that the course is oriented towards the needs of the socio-economic environment as well as the expectations of the labour market. The study programme contains innovative and novel elements, based on original didactic concepts.
